Support the museum and get a personal presentation and preview of the new exhibit. Thanks to our partnership with RocketRez we are able to plan an event that stages small groups of people throughout the day. When you book your tickets for this event you will get to pick the time that you would like to visit the museum and preview the new exhibit, Mennonites at War. Andrea Klassen will guide you through the exhibit with a special presentation. You will then proceed to the Chortitz Housebarn and receive a short presentation on the fundraising project. After the tour enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine in the shade of the heritage garden. All proceeds from the event will go toward the restoration of the Chortitz Housebarn. Our goal is to raise $22,000 in order to complete the project and to take advantage of the matching grant from the province.
Tickets are: $75 each. ($50 receipt per ticket)

Venue Information - Mennonite Heritage Village Museum
Explore a turn-of-the century Russian Mennonite street village on our 40 acre site. Taste traditional ethnic fare at the museum’s Livery Barn Restaurant, and explore a classic Mennonite housebarn and a fully operational Dutch windmill during our summer season. View historic and heirloom treasures from Poland and Russia to Canada, displayed in the Main and Gerhard Ens galleries, and find that perfect souvenir at Village Books & Gifts, all open year-round in the Village Centre.
There is always something new to experience. The changing annual themes and temporary exhibits, along with new artifacts donated each year, celebrate the Mennonite heritage and culture. We also offer a broad range of activities and demonstrations, from wagon rides to bread baking, throughout the summer on our Festival days. All of these features combine in this bustling village to offer a fresh experience with each visit.
